Jenn Stanley is the owner and instructor here at Anything's Pawsible. She is a member in good standing of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) as well as a co-leader and primary instructor of Howard County's 4-H Dog Club.

In 2010, Jenn will also be testing for her Certified Pet Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) certification through CCPDT. CPDT-KA is a standardized, nationwide exam and is respected worldwide. The exam covers instructional skills, animal husbandry, ethology, learning theory, and equipment knowledge. The CCPDT also requires those who pass the exam to obtain a minimum of 36 continuing education units every 3 years in order to maintain certification.

Jenn has been involved with dogs competitively since 2002 and has been an instuctor of all levels of agility since 2005. She has trained and handled dogs in a variety of venues including conformation, agility, obedience, and rally.

Although many students never plan to compete, competitions through nationally-recognized organizations (such as the American Kennel Club) offer standardized training levels that must be passed under multiple, licensed judges in order to proceed further. Upon completing a level a dog typically earns a title to add to their name which allows them to enter the next level of competition. In this way, Jenn's ability to title multiple dogs in various organizations demonstrates not only her knowledge and ability to train basic obedience, but more advanced skills for obedience, rally, and agility.

Although Jenn's dogs have a very high qualifying percentage in competition, she feels the best evaluation of a good run lies in the teamwork, not on the score sheet.
